I actually bought quite a few things from Etsy this month but they're all supplies for my shop. I did, however, buy one fun item (Not that my supplies aren't fun, they're fun, I just don't think everyone would be interested in hearing about it, that's all).
With Easter coming up at the end of this month I've been in the market for an Easter Bunny for Tessa (It'll be her first Easter!) I found the perfect bunny at Cindimh. It's just the right size and is made from a very soft material. What sold me on it was that it was made with babies in mind. And of course it's just so cute!

Etsy Purchase Review #2
![]() |
| Owly Love Keychain |
Needlings is a plushie shop on Etsy and is based in Canada. The owner, Heather Saunders belongs to the etsy Plush Team which you can check out at their website (It has a listing of other members and their sites).
I've been in the market for a new key chain for a while, ever since my Twilight key chain broke. I knew I wanted something cutesy, and I wanted an owl, they're just so cute! I had favorited a few of them but then I came across one from Needlings and I just fell in love. I thought it was the cutest little thing I had ever seen, and in my new favorite color too! Mint! It did take a little while to get here but that was understandable since it was coming all the way from Canada. But when I did get it, it was well packaged and not only was my little owl in it, which I have nicknamed my "Traveling Buddy," but I also received an adorable little pin back button with a picture of a cartoon owl on it and a fun promotional sticker for the Plush Team. That's what I love about etsy, your not just paying for the item, you paying for customer service.
Cutest. Owl. Ever.

More Etsy for Japan Relief
I have to do 100 notecards and 100 envelopes to get done in two weeks for a bride who would like them after her honeymoon so she can send out her thank you's. That's a month's worth of cards done in just a couple of weeks. But I know I can do it. So, we're just gonna keep this post simple today.

Friday's Faves #4
Friday's Faves Theme: Child's Play
This week's faves was inspired by my daughter Tessa, who I only want to give the best to.
This doll is the sweetest! You can find this pretty girl at atelierblueberrie. Luna would make a great gift for the little girl in your life. I'm sure Tessa would love one someday. $105.
I wish I had a tea set as pretty as this when I was little, although I probably would have broken the dishes which is probably why my parents bought me a plastic set. You can find this at KathyCeramicRose. $50
What a nice chair for a kids crafting table and you can choose the color you want to match the room! Of course, if one chair won't do you you could order the four chairs and table set from jessedirk. $270
This is such a sweet little dress! Its by babybeenos. Babybeenos has other beautiful dresses for your little darling to choose from. $44

Crafting Trends
When you stare at all the goodies Etsy has to offer as often as I do, you start to notice trends. I've compiled a list of what I believe to be the top ten trends on Etsy, in no particular order.
Bunting is VERY popular right now, so popular that as you read this your probably saying, "Well, duh!" I've been seeing it in jewelry, paper crafts, art, ceramics and pottery, accessories and of course, decor for every occasion. I'll even be participating in this trend soon.
I've been seeing owls every where, too. I even bought myself this adorable owl keychain from Needlings (Which I will be telling you all about once I receive it in the mail.)
Another "Well, duh!" moment.
I've been seeing this color everywhere, not just Etsy. Its a great color for spring, its fresh and it fits with everything, from jewelry to accessories to geekery!
This one I'm seeing mostly in photography. I've noticed a lot of them have this faded, washed, antiqued look to them.
I've seen so many variants of this, all of them are fun and even inspiring... Like this one! I want cake now...
I see them attached to sticks, shirts, mugs, even pacifiers!
This one isn't as prominent as the mustache but it does go hand in hand so I just had to add it
This may not be one of the bigger trends on this list but there are quite a few artists on Etsy doing it and I think its a great way to recycle unwanted books and old newspapers.
I've been seeing this a lot in Treasury and during random searches, could this be a trend?

Friday's Faves #2
Friday's Faves Theme: Minty Fresh
My newest obession; mint. Its such a refreshing, cheerful color and is becoming very trendy. So, in honor of my current, favorite color, here are some very minty pretties.
This scarf is from AVAoriginal. And what better name? Her work is definitely one of a kind. I know many of us are anxious for Spring to start and with this scarf you could have spring year round. $63.
This headband is so pretty and whimsical. It would be fantastic for the bridesmaids to wear for a garden wedding or for yourself! You can find this gorgeous piece at mojospastyle. $28
This is sooo cute! I wish I had one of these when I was little. Its a felt green tea set and is perfect for a special little girl. But who says kids should get to have all the fun? This would look adorable sitting on a coffee table next to a stack of vintage books. You can find this at RoyalMint for $89.
This bag is b-e-a-utiful. It is a vintage, upcycled bag with a little wear which I think just shows that its been given a lot of love through the years. Why not give it even more love? You can find this bag at VEILEDcustommade for $40.00
Photography is my first love, so when I found this I knew I just had to add it to today's fave. You can get this work of art, and others like it at honeytree. $16
